Activity: Update on My First Garden

You are NOT going to believe this.

Even though it's freezing out (yes, actually under 32*F), and there is frost, and my other plants are shrivelling and dying of cold and neglect...

Turtle's sunflowers are sprouting!



Color. Me. Stunned.

The packaging said it would take about 3 weeks to see some growth, but these bad boys sprang into action about 3-4 days after the initial planting. At least, MacGyver and Turtle don't have the same Brown Thumb Syndrome I seem to have.
