Fantastic Day!

This morning, Mom and I got up early to take Turtle to the hospital for his PKU screening. I totally passed the diaper bag packing test, as well as the carseat and stroller test. So we parked and were walking in and who should we run into but my birthing nurse! I was so happy - I had written her out a card and sent her a photo of our family with an update and our email address so she could keep in touch. She was thrilled to see us and delighted to see that Turtle was doing well. It was awesome to see her.

Turtle did great for his test - he only cried for a second. Poor thing has had so many needles in the past few weeks that nothing seems to phase him.

Never underestimate the lure of the Poky Little Puppy

When we got home, our fence was totally halfway done. By 4:30 today, we had a completely enclosed yard! Yay!!! Tomorrow afternoon, DH is going to go out and clean the back patio so we can grill out on Saturday. Exciting stuff!

Oh, and the dogs LOVE it. They are totally tuckered out right now, which is EXACTLY the point. :P
