Turtle's Day: A Pictoral Review, In His Own Words
Thursday, October 2, 2008
I woke up this morning and played in my crib. Mommy said she loved me extra for "sleeping in," whatever that means. Maybe I'll keep doing it, for extra lovin'.
Daddy fed me breakfast today and that was nice. I like to give him a hard time sometimes - he gets all nervous and silly.
I decided to nap today. Mommy says I haven't been napping enough and I was tired, so I did. It was a little overrated.
When I woke up, Mommy was opening a package from a place called the Gap. She got really excited over these new clothes. I don't see what the big deal is. I'm just going to drool on them anyway.
We went to lunch with Miss A and her little boy N. Mommy says he's so cute but he's really tiny, and he couldn't even chew on the menu. I guess I'll have to teach when he gets bigger. Mommy and Miss A both had shrimp. I let Mommy eat some of it, but then I decided I wanted her to stand up and I fell asleep on her. She's got a really comfy shoulder.
When we got home, I stayed in my car seat, napping. I'm a little smushed in there. Daddy was out, but when he came home, he gave me what Mommy called a pumpkin. She let me sit with it on the couch.
That pumpkin looked so good, I decided to lean on over and take a bite.
My puppy, Bentley, saw what I was doing and decided to come check it out.
Go 'way, Bentley. MY pumpkin! Nom nom nom.
Mommy took the pumpkin away from me. She said that I shouldn't be licking it. She ruins all my fun.
Then she and Daddy broke out my new carseat. Man, it is COMFY!!! I can't figure out why they've been keeping this from me for so long. I could have hung out in here all. Day. Long. It's the best.
Daddy is going out of town for the weekend, so he made me dinner and then made some for Mommy, too. She let me sit on her lap while she ate, but she still wouldn't give me any food. Pooey. I had my bath and my bedtime bottle, and then Daddy put me to bed. I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!

Love your moms taste in clothes!
N is looking forward to menu chewing lessons! and tell your mom she is the new fun burglar for not letting you chew the pumpkin. =)
