What. A. Weekend.
First, let me tell you about the new venture upon which my friend T has embarked. It's Thirty-One and it's great. From T's blog:
Our merchandise includes personalized and unique purses, tote bags, stationery, candles, and much more! We are more than just a company. We are women who believe in celebrating, encouraging and rewarding others for who they are.
Click here to check it out and to find out how you can host a party or order products.
K hosted the party perfectly, providing chocolate and wine while we shopped.
The grownups were not the only ones enjoying the chocolate. Mmmm.
Wine + friends + new purses = lots of happy.
Such great friends!
DH went out to dinner with some of the other guys, and it was a great night for everyone. Thanks to T and K for everything! I'll be sure to post in a few weeks when I get my merchandise! I'm sure it will be great.
So this morning, we got up nice and early to hit the "fall festival" at the church a few blocks away. It was meh. They really didn't have many pumpkins, and there were a few cool things at the garage sale portion of it, but I think there will be better as the month passes.
Disappointed, we decided to try the pumpkin patch at the church a few miles up the road. It. Was. Great. Tons of pumpkins and the people working it were so sweet and cute.
Turtle took his pumpkins very seriously, as you can see.
One of the people running the patch was sweet enough to take this picture of me and Turtle while DH was chatting up some of the other patrons. We couldn't get a smile, but maybe next time.
We got a bunch of pumpkins for the dinner club we're hosting in a few weeks. The little ones are for the kids to paint, and the big ones are for some of the adults to have a carving contest. it should be fun!
After all that fun, we took Turtle to a wings place where the Hurricanes fan club was meeting to watch the game. There were some fun people there and we had a great time. Turtle skipped his nap so he was a little on the cranky side tonight, but he's sound asleep and hopefully will sleep in a bit tomorrow (fingers crossed!)

Look at Aiden at the pumpkin patch! I see his good friends Bacon and I forget the other one still go with him everywhere. ;)
