I want to send up a big, fat rave for Turtle's stocking. We ordered it from Pottery Barn last week and it arrived yesterday and it's gorgeous. It was on sale for $15, free shipping, and we had his name embroidered on it for about $6. It's soft and thick and it's going to last him for many, many years. I can't wait to fill it with all sorts of goodies and see his face light up. Me = holiday dork.



I also wanted to share some of these photos I took this morning. Our mornings are a lot cooler, so we're starting to get some fog over the alke in the morning. It created a really gorgeous haze with the sunrise.



I was able to get this picture of the sunrise through a spiderweb. I'm squicked out by the spiders around here but they do some amazing webwork in the night.



DH is really busy with work the last few days. I'm glad for him. He's happiest when he's busy, and so I'm glad. It makes it tough sometimes, when he works nights, but we figure it out.

Molly spent some time with Turtle today - she really adores him. However, she had to make him understand that he is not to grab her toys. They are hers, and she does not wish to share. Turtle seemed to respect her decision.

And these are some of my favorites - DH took a break and sat with Turtle out back for a bit. He had him giggling up a storm. I love being able to get these moments on camera. They're awesome.
