Wine Tasting

I was able to convince DH to watch the baby for a few hours so I could join a few girlfriends at a french bistro for some wine and cheese. It was so nice to have a glass of pinot and some brie and laugh and chat.

Turtle is having good days. The nurse came back today to download the data from his monitor again, and we only had one or two bradys worth mentioning. We have our fingers crossed that he will be taken off the machine at his pulmonogy appointment in a few weeks. It would be such a relief.

I'm looking forward to the weekend. DH is going to take us out to lunch and then head over to the pool tomorrow afternoon, and then Saturday, we're going to the blueberry festival in a nearby town. I think it will be good for us to get out as a family. DH also needs some time to himself to get a bit of a breather.

Dad is still in the hospital, but we're hoping to have him out early next week. All in all, things have been pretty quiet. I'm looking forward to doing some scrapbooking and writing this weekend. Oh, and some cooking, too!
