Poor baby

It was a fussy, fussy day.

Pretty much the only way Turtle would settle down is if one of us held him. My arm is so sore. We're guessing it's probably gas, and I think he seems to have slept it off. I brewed some fennel tea for him, just in case - if his fussiness crops up again, we'll give it a shot.

He also seemed happy chilling with Daddy.

While at the store, I took advantage of the Duncan Heinz 2-for-1 sale. Tomorrow, I'm going to make mint chocolate chip cupcakes with homemade buttercream. Yum. I can't wait to see how they turn out. I'm going to try piping the icing again - I feel more comfortable with it.

I also played around with my camera today. We have these gorgeous roses outside and this morning, they were covered with this fabulous dew. I just put the macro setting on the Rebel and started snapping away. The photos came out gorgeous, if I do say so myself.

And last but not least, DH made pizza for dinner tonight. I brought home tomatoes and fresh basil and when Turtle and I got home, we had this masterpiece waiting for us. I won't lie - we use the Publix dough, but it looked so pretty that I told him I was going to take pictures and brag about him online.
