Day 6: 30 Day Shred - level 1

Allow me to channel Sir Elton John for just a moment:
Don't you know I'm still standing better than I ever did
Looking like a true survivor, feeling like a little kid
I'm still standing after all this time
That's right... Day 6 is done and I feel fantastic.
(For the math whizzes, that means we are 1/5 of the way, or 20% there!)
I'm super excited - after all, temptation to take a break reared its ugly head. It's Saturday, and for just a moment, I thought to myself: Self, it's the weekend. Take a day off. And then I sighed, because this is not the 30DS With Time Off On the Weekends. That would be like the 38 Day Shred. So I sucked it up, and managed to do 15 consecutive pushups (Yes, I'm still on my knees, but whatever. I'm still pushing up).
I'm also feel good about moving up a level in a few days. I think it will be a good change, for one, and also, I'm ready for the increased workout.
I'm telling myself right now: I didn't take off today, so I'm certainly not taking off tomorrow!

Good for you for working out today. I know how tempting it is to skip on the weekends. As soon as I have my own set of lungs back, I will be getting back on the 30 DS Bandwagon.
