Birthdays and DVD Releases

After a house-cleaning marathon this morning, we went across the street to our neighbor's daughter's first birthday party. It was absolutely adorable, and Turtle was, of course, delighted to be able to try out some new toys.





He also fell in love with an Oscar the Grouch remote control. He chewed on that for about an hour!





After his nap, we went to Target. I wanted to pick up some more Morningstar foodstuffs, a new toy, see if they had azaleas in their garden center, and get my hot, little hands on this...



Oh, yes. Twilight has been released. The minute DH went out tonight, I had that bad boy plugged into the DVD player and watched it. It's still not a great movie, but I love it anyway. I think I'm going to re-read the series. :)

And soon it will be off to bed. I'm tired, from all the activity and tomorrow we have to work on some new plantings in the front garden. I'm excited to see it looking better, but I hate gardening with the fire of 1000 suns.
