::waves hands wildly in the air:: Me, me, me!!!!
Seriously. We just got home. We had to do laundry, clean, organize, take Turtle to his final cardiologist appointment, prep for out of town guests, and throw his official first birthday party.
I'm exhausted just typing that.
Here are some pictures from our last day in NJ. We went to brunch and when Turtle got a little tired of sitting. After all, he devoured some ham, eggplant, fruit, eggs and various bites of other yummy things. He's a good eater. So I took him outside with Aunt L to see the ducks.
Wednesday was Turtle's First Birthday.
He had a birthday extravaganza. It spanned four parties, three cities, three states... I mean, really. It was off the hook. Or the chain. Or whatever the kids are saying these days.
I didn't think we needed to do ANOTHER cake "smash." But then Mom and Dad called and wanted us to hook them up on skype at 5:29 so they could see him with his cake.
So I caved. I went to SuperTarget and I ... god, it kills me to admit this... bought him a cupcake. I didn't have it in me to bake something when I had a ton of baking to do this weekend. Sigh.
He loved it though. :)
