She gave me my very own, sparkly, shiny award!



As with all things, there's a catch. And some rules.

Here are the rules:

1) List 10 honest things about yourself

2) Pass it on to 7 cool people who embody the spirit of honest scrap.

Zee list:

1) I am absolutely NOT holding back tears of joy right now because one of my best friends gave me the most fantastic news and I am so happy for her.

2) I am a baker by trade and I am flat out terrified of the oven. I get a case of the shakes every time I have to pull out a pan. It's really quite ironic.

3) I don't like doing things I am automatically not good at. It's a bit of a sticking point for me.

4) I second guess myself a lot. I like to pretend to have oodles of confidence, but it takes me a long time to make a decision.

5) I despise talking on the phone. The very act of picking it up and dialing the numbers is unappealing to me.

6) I go barefoot as much as possible.

7) I have stopped sitting down other than at mealtimes, because it seems like such a great effort to have to get back up again and it's just easier to stay on my feet.

8) I did not like the English Patient.

9) A fun day for me includes a trip to Starbucks and Target. A fun day used to include a trip to Bru's.

10) Toys have taken over my living room. I don't know how that happened. And I really don't have the motivation to do anything about it.

I am doing a silent tag, which may or may not be in the spirit of the awards. However, there are no hard or fast rules, so I'm going to do it my way. (True to my list, I changed my mind three times before I came to this conclusion!)
