And stuff. :)
Mom and Dad left this morning at 5am. They actually just called to say they had gotten back to NJ safe and sound. I miss the hell out of them. I wish they could have stayed another two weeks.
Yesterday, we took Turtle to the park. He has the best time, hanging out. It was great having so many extra pairs of hands to occupy him so I could get some great pics.
Here he is, swinging away.
And then, on to the slide. He was VERY annoyed that Nana and Papa Bear had to hold on to him and kept trying to pry their fingers off. Can you say "independent child"?
Nana was fearless and climbed up into one of the apparatus so Turtle could peek out the bubble window.
Hiyeeee!!!
And looky here. Someone is figuring out how to put one foot in front of the other. We call that walking. And someone gets it. Ack! Mobility!
After lunch, we headed to Vilano Beach. The weather turned and it was freezing and dark, but we still got some great pictures.
And then today was Valentine's Day. I made DH a heart-shaped egg and cheese sandwich. For dinner, he made me pineapple shrimp, coconut & basil thai rice and an asparagus/green bean/feta salad with a clam appetizer. I made cheesecake pops.
And here's Mr. Turtle with his awesome faux-hawk, enjoying his Valentine's gifts. Could he be any cuter? The answer is no.
