Stars & Stripes & Stuff

Monday, June 8, 2009

Yesterday, we went for a drive around Crescent Beach. We admired the houses, then grabbed lunch at an Irish bar, and finished up with some custard from Rita's. Yum.

We have determined that Turtle will watch baseball on TV. Here, he and Daddy watch the Yankees whoop the Rays.

His pony is still a favorite. He loves to squeeze the ears so the pony will make sounds. And he's learning how to bounce it himself.

Since we missed the Stars & Stripes mini photo shoot this weekend, I found some cute props at the Target Dollar Spot and decided to do my own. A glittery hat, some flags, a baby and a pug - what more do you need?

Patriotic Turtle.

T is for Tongue. I mean, really. It's just hanging out there. What else was he supposed to do?

Molly says glitter hats taste yummy.

Also wanted to share a great gift. My friend, D, from Morning Star Loft, sent me this adorable Red Velvet Armadillo Bakeshop tank top. On the front, a sparkly cupcake with the words "and I bake" underneath it.

On the back? The company name in red sparkles.

Could not be cuter. I am in total love with it. Thanks, D!

She also made some camo cargo shorts for Turtle with a little skull & crossbones. Too. Cute.
