A Day at the Zoo

After what seemed like weeks of horrendous rain, the Turtle (who can now actually say "turtle", in addition to ball and bowl, although both sound like "bo") and I met some of our buddies at the Zoo to check out the aminals. That's right. Aminals.

First, the rarely seen Sunbathing Pug of the Northeast. Note the way he sprawls out in the daylight, snoring and completely oblivious to his observers.

Ha ha, just kidding. That's Bentley, being a goober.



Turtle was not sure what to make of the exhibits.



B, Turtle and N. N adores Turtle. He kept grabbing his stroller and trying to share his cheerios.

Yes, I'm a five year old. I had to feed them lettuce. Had to.



I loved how Turtle gripped his snack tray while staring at the anteater.



The capybara is one of the cutest aminals in the zoo.



Hey, N, I'll trade you a goldfish for a cheerio.

AND OMG I'M SO EXCITED!!!! LOOK WHAT CAME IN THE MAIL FOR ME TODAY!!!!

That's right. It's Martha Stewart's new cupcake book. Yummy! My friend T ordered this for me for my birthday and I have been impatiently awaiting its arrival forEVER. Ok, just a couple of weeks, but still. I can't wait to try out some of the recipes.
