In My Spare Time

While Hubby slaves away over his painting task, I haven't been twiddling my thumbs. I've been working very hard at updating this blog! :)
But seriously. I finally have my scrapbook motivation back, so I put my craftiness to work using a 5x7 from the family photo shoot we did last month.
First, I sent off about $50 to scrapbook.com for new supplies. I just can't seem to come back from a scrapping hiatus without a bunch of new items. When my shipment came (and yes, there was the inevitable "But don't you HAVE enough of this stuff yet?" from Hubby), I let it sit on the desk in my "scrapping center," the desk in the corner of the loft, to which my hobby has been relegated. After a week or so, I collected a bunch of paper, chipboard, and other fun embellishments and moved them all to the unused side of the kitchen table, to sit for another week.
This prompted the wise question from Hubby: "So, honey, what kind of chair do you want for your scrapbook desk?" I think the clutter might have been getting on his nerves. That reminds me, I have to start looking at chairs.
Anyway, a good three weeks after inspiration struck, I put together this cute little page.
12x12 Valentine's cardstock, chipboard flowers with decorative centers, vellum quote, and MM perfect pair metal tab.
You'll be pleased to know that elements for my next page have once again migrated down to the unused side of the kitchen table, waiting patiently for me to get started.
