My new toy!

In prepping for our party, DH did a Target run and came home with this:


I had mentioned wanting a fryer the other night when we were having a potato wrapped shrimp appetizer at dinner. I had no idea that he processed that info into actually getting me one. But wheeee!!! It also steams and boils - I'm sure you can see the boast on the left - it holds 16 ears of corn! This will make my southern fried chicken easy as anything, and I am so excited that I get to try to fry my own spinach (if you haven't had, it's amazing).

He also said that he was looking at getting me an ice cream maker, but is holding off until I decide if I really want it.

I also decided that I was really bored with our bedroom. We're done with major home improvements for the year (boo), so new bedding is out for now, but I realized we still had our bedding from the townhouse. I flipped our mattress, washed everything, and voila! New room! I love it. I really always loved this pattern but wanted to try something different for the new house. I guess if it ain't broke, don't fix it, right?
