The baby made me do it!

Apparently, according to my husband (the Fun Burglar), I've been both combative and evasive about the subject of a diaper bag. He claims that any time he brings it up, that I refuse to look at them, or change the topic. He asked me today if I was just waiting for him to buy me one, and I told him that I did register for the Graco Deco one at BRU, but just really hadn't... gotten there.

Truth is, I had been drooling over a particular Coach bag, but just could not justify the price tag. I had a 20% off coupon for the regular store, but I let it expire, in the hopes that I would get over it. In the meantime, I have glanced at others, but none of them have really grabbed me.

So tonight, when he went to the Jax Suns game, I decided to go to the outlets. I had a gift card to Carter's and the Coach factory outlet is just a few stores down.

I don't know what happened. The practical side of my brain seriously just shut down. I'm not even a purse person! I carry the same black Coach bag for a few years and then replace it. Sometimes I'll pick up a few fun purses from Target, but that's rare.

The only thing I can say in my defense is that my total savings was 47%. And I'm not going to buy a new bag for a really, really, really, really, really long time.
