Happy 2009!

Happy New Year to everyone! Hope you all have a happy, healthy and wonderful 2009!

This is a picture-heavy post, documenting the last few days.

Here's Turtle, wearing his new, fuzzy sweats from Nana and Papa Bear, showing me how much his poor little gums hurt.


The cannoli cake I made for DH's 35th birthday, with a lovely chocolate ganache. We had our next door neighbor's over for a nice dinner to celebrate New Year's and the birthday. It was really great: good food, good friends, wine, champagne toast and cake.
